Seeding Rule for WYYC (Start with 2017 season)

Previous WYYC (World Yo-Yo Contest)

  • Champion: Seed to Final
  • 2nd and 3rd: Seed to Semi-Final
  • Finalist: Seeded to Prelim

MNC (Multi-National Contest such as AP, EYYC, PanAm)

  • Champion: Seed to Semi-Final (If the division has 10 or more contestants)
  • 2nd Place: Seed to Semi-Final (If the division has 30 or more contestants)
  • 3rd Place: Seed to Semi-Final (If the division has 50 or more contestants)

Requirement:

  • Overall, 50 or more contestants
  • Overall, 3 or more countries
  • Pre-approval from IYYF needed
  • Result needed to be submitted to IYYF in proper way (No seeds, if failed)

NC (National Contest)

  • Champion: Seed to Semi-Final
  • 2nd to 10th: Seed to Prelim

(If there is Combined Division like 2A-5A all together, the winners will be split into styles they played to get seed to their appropriate divisions.)

Requirement:

  • Overall, 10 or more contestants
  • Result needed to be submitted to IYYF in proper way (No seed, if failed)
